About
I'm a problem solver by nature. My favorite part of this job is the part where something is broken, or slow, or nobody can quite explain why it does that — and I get to go find out.
I started on the back end: Classic VBScript, then .NET and C#, and eventually PHP, where I've spent most of the last decade building custom applications on CodeIgniter and the MVC pattern. When the front end got interesting, I went and got good at that too. These days I'm equally comfortable writing a payment-gateway integration and pushing type around in Photoshop until the header finally feels right.
I'm a University of North Florida alum (Swoop!) who has been building for the web in San Diego, CA since 2016. Right now I run the web presence for a biotech company — a Magento storefront wired into NetSuite, HubSpot, and a stack of third-party data providers.

What I do
The useful thing about being a hybrid is that nothing gets lost in the handoff — I can take a project from a sketch to a design to a deployed, instrumented page without a translation layer.
Custom applications on PHP and CodeIgniter, MySQL schema design, and the unglamorous API plumbing that keeps a storefront, an ERP, and three payment providers agreeing with each other.
Semantic HTML, modern CSS, and JavaScript that does not need a framework to justify itself. Responsive, accessible, and fast — I once took 226% off a sales funnel's load time just by deleting things.
Fifteen years in the Adobe suite. Wireframes, comps, logo vectorization, print collateral, and increasingly video — because a page is only ever half the deliverable now.
I treat AI as a force multiplier, not a replacement for the craft — pair programming, drafting copy, rubber-ducking a stubborn bug. It gets me to better work faster, with a human eye on everything that ships.
